The Treasure Chest that is Youtube

Do you also have this habit of turning to youtube if you suddenly think of a random hobby to learn? Then you're not alone.

We didn't know when it happened but we just woke up one day realizing that youtube is no longer just about watching new music videos or funny clips, it has become an avenue for learning.

Youtube has all sorts of tutorial videos from cooking your favorite dish to gardening, hairdressing, building things and basically anything you can think of.

If you're tired of reading instructions, just play a youtube tutorial and it's like your listening in class with the convenience of being able to pause it.

Didn't quite catch the lecture your professor gave in Chemistry or Physics class? Check a youtube lecture on how to solve an equation and a summary on the lecture and you're ready for a quiz.

Worried about your skin and decided to make your own skincare routine? Open a youtube video and choose from a simple wash your face, toner, and moisturizer routine to a 10-step Korean skincare routine.

Sometimes, unconsciously, I get too hooked in youtube videos that I start out by watching a video on how to cook pasta and then after a few hours, I end up with birthing videos of animals.

Youtube is a melting pot of culture and information. If you're interested in learning something, you can always start with a simple youtube tutorial. Information is just within our reach so let's go ahead and grab it.
