Millennials nowadays have a newfound appreciation of plants.
It might be because of those 3-minute videos on how to grow your own plants,
or they are starting to adopt a new lifestyle to improve their mental health.
While some may have been inspired by the interior designs of their favorite online influencers
having different kinds of trendy plants in their bedroom.
Whatever the reason may be, it is undeniable that having plants in one's home improves
their mood and well-being. Nothing's wrong with a little potted plant in a house corner or a succulent in a study table.
Here are some trendy plants that are now often seen in millennial bedrooms and spaces:
Monstera
This is probably the most popular. From magazine features to Instagram posts and portrait
backgrounds, this plant is always present. It really does look good and edgy.
Succulents
Succulent plants are those with parts that are thickened, fleshy and engorged which holds
lots of water so they don't need frequent watering. They are even used as gifts for birthdays
and special occasions.
Cactus
Cacti are thick fleshy plants that grow in hot places. They do not need much water. If you
frequently forget about plants and taking care of them, then cactus is the perfect no-brainer plant.
Ficus elastica
Also called the rubber tree or rubber fig, this plant makes any space look beautiful.
However, they need lots of sunshine.
Snake plant
Snake plants are also very easy to take care of. They can live with indirect sunlight
and can make a spaces more lively.
With little accents of greens in a certain space, one can feel at ease. No wonder even millennials
have started appreciating them.
