Cebu City, also called the "Queen City of the South" in the Philippines, offers the best of both worlds: the upscale city life and the beauty of nature. It's a city in between the sea and the hills. If you don't have enough time to explore the exciting spots all around the province of Cebu, don't worry... the city's tourist destinations alone will suffice.

You can visit a variety of churches, historical sites, places with delicious food, and historical landscapes, but if you plan on seeing everything in a day, then here are the top destination in Cebu City:

Temple of Leah

Temple of Leah is Teodorico Soriano Adarna's gesture of love to his late wife Leah Albino-Adarna, a life partner for 53 years. It is located on top of the hill in barangay Busay in Cebu City

Tops Lookout

Sirao Flower Garden

Sirao flower garden is a mountainous region with a vast expanse of flowers including an area known as "Mini Amsterdam." Located in the same hill as Temple of Leah and Tops Lookout, one can tour these three spots easily.

Lechon (Roasted Pig)

Lechon has become a food destination in Cebu City. The late Anthony Bourdain, American celebrity chef, author, and travel documentarian, described Cebu Lechon as "best pig ever". This delicacy can be found in various Lechon restaurants all over the city.
