The Magic Called Persistence

They say persistence is one of the most important ingredients of success.

Those who climbed to the ladder of success would always be that bull-headed trier who would  pick himself/herself up despite the failures.

How does persistence contribute to success?

Take for example the life of Thomas Edison who persevered through thousands of trials before he was able to get the light bulb right.

What could have happened had he quit trying on his 300th time or his 600th?

Would he be given credit for his genius?

Another example would be the great Abraham Lincoln who failed in his many business ventures, electoral bids and even in relationships.

Perhaps there would be no Abraham Lincoln had he succumbed to just  in one of his defeats.

Persistence is magical because a person who has it,  need not be extremely talented or superbly intelligently  to become successful.

There are countless men and women who would never consider themselves brilliant but has attained success through unwavering persistence.

Obviously, the more we try, the more immuned we are to failures.

Failures give us new knowledge and experience.

We become wiser through them and it is in our constant endeavors that we get nearer to success.

Persistence entails belief.

It requires faith to believe that we are nearer to our goals.

It requires belief that at the end of the day, we will accomplish our goals.

It is a character of rarity these days. It is a gem found in many us .

For some, it is still a rough stone hidden, waiting to be polished.
