Upload videos as frequently as you can

To progressively build a name in Youtube, you should upload content as much as you can, if possible everyday. This is to attract your initial audience or viewers. You could also take this opportunity to identify which type of content viewers respond to most and your video making skills improve as you go on. Take negative comments as learning opportunities. 

 

Improve your video quality 

You don't need to have the best camera to make great videos but you need one which can produce quality videos. In choosing one, take into consideration video and audio stabilization. Make sure that your audio is clear and does not clash with some background music/noise. Invest in a good tripod or stand to avoid shaky videos. 

 

Use search engine optimization (SEO) tricks

While video quality allows your viewers to stay, SEO allows your viewers to find you. Keep in mind that Youtube is a search engine so you need to learn SEO skills so that it recommends you to certain users. You can do this by a descriptive title of often search edkerywords, use trendy tags, and improve your video description. 

 

Interact with the community

Don't just stay in your own little bubble. Use your account to comment on famous videos. The art of commenting can generate audience for you. Oftentimes, critical, humurous and relatable comments can get thousands of likes and Youtube automatically puts the top comments first. Follow other youtube accounts that are famous and related to your content. 

 

Lowkey ask for engagements

The best way to get engagements is to ask for it. At the end or at some point of your videos, you can have a spiel like, "Thanks for watching! Don't forget to like this video. If you'd want to watch more, click subsribe and see you on my next video." This is common among Youtubers. 

 

Not not to compare yourself with other youtubers

The thing that often discourages new youtubers is thinking that their videos are not good enough and far from already famous videos. Get rid of this mindset and continue to upload videos while improving your content because at some point, people will discover yours.
